Hi there,
In case you hadn’t noticed, we’ve had a makeover.
We’ve spent the last few months building a new brand for FinDotNews, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. Please drop us a line on fin@dotnews.co.za.
The highlight of the project is our new website, www.findotnews.co.za, but you might also have encountered the new brand on our social media or in our email signatures.
A team effort
We’ve been meaning to rebrand for a while now, but there was always other seemingly more important stuff to do. Being marketing professionals, we have done a large portion of the rebranding ourselves. But the big game changer came when we decided to get a fresh outside perspective from a professional not blinded by the dust of the arena.
After taking the time to really listen to our concerns, our designer came up with a few different options. This was the toughest part of the process, as all of her designs captured the essence of our brand while also giving it a chic, modern makeover. Once we’d settled on a design, our inhouse team turned the designer’s vision into reality. Sometimes all it takes is one small nudge…
More than just a rebrand
While we’re extremely chuffed with the visual aspects of the rebrand, we’re even more thrilled to launch our intuitive “pick your package” widget. Have you ever noticed how many brands fall into the trap off offering three named packages (e.g. Bronze, Silver Gold or Basic, Premium, Enterprise) which are supposed to cater for every possible consumer need?
While this may work for some brands – after much introspection – we realised our service is all about giving financial advisors the marketing solutions they need, so our package structure had to echo this promise.
That’s why our new service offering puts the power completely in your hands! You tell us how big your database is, and which services you require, and we’ll calculate a price for you in real time. Check it out here.
Watch this space
Our new brand ID is the latest step in the FinDotNews journey – a journey which began when our founder, Jack Crook, launched LawDotNews (a similar service for law firms) way back in 2005. This was followed by the highly successful CA(SA)DotNews in collaboration with SAICA.
FinDotNews – a collaboration between DotNews and FinCommunications is the newest publication in the DotNews stable, so it made sense to rebrand it first. LawDotNews and CA(SA)DotNews will be getting their own makeovers very soon…
To celebrate our rebrand, we’re running a limited time promotion where new subscribers don’t pay the sign-up fee – a saving of R1650 + VAT. To claim your discount, use the promo code MAKEOVERMADNESS when signing up.
